Down on Sil Thakur Bari Road, you can find The Indo Moulders & Fabricators at number 44. It is a place where we get our hands dirty every day. The workshop is full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and the hum of the welding machines. There is always a layer of iron dust on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. It is a tough environment but we like the work. We make things and fix things. It is not a place for suits and ties. We wear work clothes that are stained with oil and soot. The road outside can get muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a trek to get in. We have some heavy equipment that takes up most of the space. You have to watch your step so you don't trip over a pipe or a piece of scrap metal. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find us because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone else. We spend the hours measuring, cutting, and joining pieces together. It is honest work. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, so we stay late under the shop lights. It is just a bunch of us working with our hands to get the job done right. That is all there is to it. We don't use fancy talk, we just get the metal shaped how it needs to be.
