The B.B.J.Const.Co.Ltd.,A Govt. Of India Undertakings

We’ve been here at 12/1 Russa Road East 1st Lane for a while now. Most people know this part of Swiss Park because it’s a bit quieter than the main roads in Kolkata. Being a Government of India Undertaking sounds very official, and it is, but our day-to-day is mostly just folks at desks and stacks of files. The B.B.J. Const. Co. Ltd. has a lot of history with bridges and big steel things, though you wouldn't know it just by looking at our office entrance. It’s an old building, the kind where you know everyone’s name and whose turn it is to bring the biscuits. Sometimes the fans make a bit too much noise when it’s hot out, but we get the work done anyway. People come in asking about projects and we try to help them out without too much fuss. It’s not a fancy glass tower or anything like that. We just have our space here in 700 033 and we keep things moving. The lane can get tight if a big truck tries to squeeze through, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, yet our corner stays pretty much the same. It is what it is, a solid place to work where the tea is usually hot and the paperwork never really ends.
