Tesoro

Our little shop, Tesoro, is tucked away on the ground floor at 45, Syed Amir Alli Avenue. It’s a busy street, so there is always people walking past the window. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the noise of the traffic and the sirens. The space inside isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. We spend most of the morning unpacking boxes and trying to find places to put everything so it doesn't look like a total mess. It’s just a few of us running the place. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. When you come in, you’re talking directly to the people who own the place or the ones who’ve been here since the start. We try to keep the shelves stocked, though sometimes things sell out faster than we expect. The lighting isn't perfect, and the floor creaks a little near the back, but it has character. We don't use a lot of fancy sales talk. If we have what you need, great. If not, we can usually tell you where else to look. 45, Syed Amir Alli Avenue is easy to find if you know the landmark buildings nearby. We like being on the ground floor because it’s easy for folks to just pop in while they’re out doing their errands. It’s a simple business, really. No big mystery to it. Just us selling things we like and staying busy throughout the week.
