Dida Export Import

We run our business from Room No. 5 on the 1st Floor. The address is No. 4 Dr. Suresh Chandra Banerjee Road. It’s an old building. The stairs are narrow and a bit dark. We’ve been in this room for quite some time. Dida Export Import is mostly about handling paperwork and making calls. We have a couple of old desks and some filing cabinets that don’t lock properly. The windows look out over Dr. Suresh Chandra Banerjee Road. It’s always full of traffic. The sound of the buses and the rickshaws comes right through the glass. We get a lot of sunlight in the afternoon. It makes the room very warm. We have a small air conditioner but it’s quite loud. We usually just leave it off and open the door to the hallway. There are boxes stacked up in the corner. Some of them have been there for months. We need to go through them one day. We deal with a lot of different people. Some are easy to talk to and others are not. That’s just the way it goes. We drink a lot of water because of the heat. Room No. 5 is small but it's where we get everything done. We don’t have a big staff. It's just a few of us sitting around the table. We stay until the work is finished. Sometimes that means being here quite late. When we lock up Room No. 5, the building is usually empty. We walk down the stairs carefully and head out onto the road.
