Our place is located in Alipore, which is one of those parts of Kolkata where you see a lot of old trees and big houses. It is a quiet area compared to the rest of the city, which is nice when you are trying to get work done. We have been here for a decent amount of time now and most of us live close enough to commute without too much trouble, though the traffic near the bridge can be a real pain in the afternoons. Inside the office, things are pretty simple. We have our desks, some chairs for when people come to visit, and a lot of files that always seem to need organizing. Kolkata has a way of slowing you down with its humidity, so we take our breaks seriously, usually with a quick snack or some tea from the shop nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the loudest group in the city. We just want to do a solid job and make sure everything is handled correctly by the end of the day. Sometimes the rains make it hard to get out, but we stay busy regardless. It is a straightforward setup we have here in Alipore and we don't feel the need to change much about it as long as the work keeps moving forward like it should. We just keep at it.
