Tata Steel

Out here at 803, Vijaya Gardens, things feel a bit different than the main industrial areas of Jamshedpur. Being in Baridih, it’s a bit quieter around the office. We’re part of Tata Steel, which is obviously a huge thing in this town, but this specific spot is where we handle the side of things that needs a bit more focus. The Pin-831 017 area is pretty familiar to us. We spend our hours going through records and taking calls. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we just keep the fans going and stay on top of the piles of documents on the desks. It’s not the kind of place with big machines running, but we’re still connected to everything happening at the plants. We've got a small team here. Most of us have lived in Jamshedpur for years, so we know the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick bite nearby. Work is just work. We come in, do what needs doing, and head home. There’s a lot of history with the company in this city, and you feel that even in a residential-feeling place like Vijaya Gardens. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Just some tables, chairs, and the usual office supplies. It’s a straightforward setup for a straightforward job. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and easy to manage throughout the week.
