Tata Steel

We've been at 32, Gobinda Addya Road for a while now. Most people in Chetla know the spot. It's not a fancy office, just where we get things done every day. Working with steel means a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of orders coming in and out of Kol-700027. Some days are busier than others, especially when the trucks arrive early in the morning and we have to move stuff around the yard. Tata Steel is a big name, but here on the ground, it’s just us handling the day-to-day tasks. We don't really do much fancy talk. Most of our time goes into checking the inventory or making sure the gate is clear for deliveries. It gets dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is when you're dealing with metal all day. If you walk down the road, you'll see the sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still there. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our routine stays mostly the same. We start early, have our tea, and get to work. There isn't much to it beyond that. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone knows where they're going. It’s a practical kind of job. We stay busy with the paperwork too, even though the physical work is what takes up most of the space here in Chetla. Just a regular bunch of people doing their jobs at this address.
