Tata Steel Ltd

Our office is over at Kalimati Flats, right on Alipore Road. We’re in Flat 804 at number 24/4. It’s a pretty well-known part of Kolkata, and the building has been around for quite a bit. Being up on the eighth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window much. Tata Steel Ltd has this spot set up for the daily grind. It’s not like those modern tech offices with bean bags or anything. We have solid desks and old filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. The commute to 700 027 can be a bit of a headache depending on the time of day, but we’re used to it by now. The hallway outside our door is usually quiet, which is nice when we need to concentrate. Inside, it’s a mix of people typing away and the occasional sound of the printer going off. We don’t really do big meetings with slides; we usually just talk across the room to get things sorted. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We keep some plants by the window, but we forget to water them sometimes. It’s just a normal place where work happens without any fuss. We like the Alipore area because it feels established and steady, which matches how we try to run things here. There is always a lot to do but we manage fine.
