Tata Projects Limited

Our office is over in the Tiljala area of Kolkata, specifically at 344/1 Hossainpur. It’s a busy part of the city, and the streets can be quite narrow around here. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, I suppose. We handle the project coordination from this spot. It gets quite humid in Kolkata, so we’re always thankful for the fans and the AC when it’s working right. There’s a lot of noise from the street—horns honking and people shouting—but we’ve gotten used to it over time. Inside, it’s a typical office setup with desks and chairs and plenty of files. We aren’t big on fancy decorations. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on supply orders. We have a tea guy who comes by, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don’t have those big mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting through the list of things we need to do. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we just find other things to work on until it’s back. It’s a very grounded way of working. We’re just local people doing our jobs in this corner of Kolkata.
