Tata Motors

Down here in Vill Chandi Hat, it’s much quieter than the big cities. We’re tucked away in the Uttar Kashipur area, part of the 24 Pgs South district. Most people around here know Md Ismail Molla’s place. It’s a bit of a local landmark. Working for Tata Motors out here means we mostly deal with people who need reliable transport for the rougher roads. It’s a very local feel. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a wooden desk with a stack of files. The air is different here, more open. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard looking at the vehicles. When it’s harvest season, things get a bit slower as everyone is busy in the fields. We don’t mind. It gives us time to catch up on maintenance and cleaning. The office is small, and we keep a spare umbrella by the door because the weather changes fast. We’re just a bunch of guys from the village and nearby towns who like cars and engines. We don’t try to act like we’re in a big city high-rise. We just provide what’s needed for the folks in Kashipur and the surrounding villages. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We don't have much of a commute since most of us live nearby. It’s a simple setup for a simple town that works well for everybody.
