Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd.

We are located out in New Town at Action Area II, specifically at Plot No. Iig/1. It’s a part of Rajarhat that is still changing a lot. Every time you look out the window, there seems to be a new building going up or some roadwork happening. At Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd., we’ve been based here for a bit, watching the area grow around us. It gets quite dusty with all the construction nearby, so we’re always cleaning the windows. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our desks, some old chairs, and a small area for lunch. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decorations. We prefer it that way because it feels more like a real workplace. The commute can be long for some of us coming from the main city, but you get used to the ride after a few weeks. We usually start early to avoid the worst of the heat and the traffic. There’s a lot of talk about projects and plans throughout the day, mostly just us trying to make sense of the latest updates. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure people are where they need to be. Sometimes it feels like we’re in the middle of nowhere, but then you see the shops popping up nearby and it feels more like a community.
