You can find us at the Bengal Intelligent Park in Sector 5. We occupy the 3rd and 4th floors at Plot A-2, M-2, and N-2. It’s a massive complex in the Salt Lake Electronics Complex area. Every morning, there’s a big rush of people heading into the park to start their shift. The elevators are usually full and the lobby stays buzzing with activity. Our space is spread out across those two floors, filled with many desks and computers. Because of the heat outside, the air conditioning is always running, which is a nice relief. Working in a place like this means following a strict daily routine. We have our badges for security and our assigned spots to sit in. It’s a giant operation at Tata Consultancy Services, yet we mostly focus on our own small sections. Looking out from the 4th floor, the view is mostly other glass buildings and the busy streets below. Lunchtime is when everyone spills out into the local food stalls or the crowded cafeteria. It’s a very different vibe from a small street shop. Everything feels very structured here. A lot of our time is spent looking at screens or attending meetings. Sometimes those meetings go long and the coffee machine runs out. But that’s just how things go in Sector 5. It’s a hub for this kind of work. We get through our tasks and deal with the long commute every single day. It’s a busy, functional environment where things are always moving forward.
