Down in Belghoria, specifically at 3/97 Jatin Das Nagar, is where we set up our base. Calcutta has a way of making everything feel a bit historic, even a construction office. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit. Our days are mostly filled with blueprints, site reports, and checking on where the cement is. It’s a construction project office, so it’s rarely quiet or perfectly clean. There’s always dust or papers moving around. We don't have a big fancy glass building. It’s just a regular place in a regular part of town. The commute can be a bit of a crawl depending on the day. We deal with the nuts and bolts of building things. It involves a lot of phone calls to suppliers and making sure the crews have what they need. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s real. We see the city changing around us and we’re just one small part of that. The office itself is functional. We have a few desks and some old cabinets full of project files. It gets humid in the summer, but we keep the fans going. Most of us have been working in this field for years, so we know the local quirks. We don't bother with fancy presentations. If something needs building, we figure out how to get it done with the resources we have. It’s honest work in a busy part of West Bengal, and we just keep at it.
