S D Enterprises

Our place is on the first floor at No. 10 Tarachand Dutta Street. We are right near the old Krishna Cinema, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up the stairs, which keeps us busy. The street outside is usually full of traffic and people walking to the market. S D Enterprises isn't a huge operation. We have a few rooms where we keep our stuff and do our daily tasks. It’s often quite noisy with the sounds from the street coming through the windows. We’ve grown used to it over the years. We spend most of our time at our desks or moving stock around. The building itself is older, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but we just get on with things. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us working near the window. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when things get busy. Usually, we are just focusing on the paperwork and the orders that come in. It’s just a regular workplace in a very crowded part of the city. We take our tea breaks together when the afternoon heat gets to be too much. It gets really hot in the summer and the ceiling fans never seem fast enough. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks we have for the day.
