Tantia Constructions Ltd

Our office is set up in Saltlake, which is a bit different from the older parts of Kolkata. It has wider roads and more trees around here. Tantia Constructions has been operating out of this area for a while now. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to infrastructure, mostly stuff like bridges and roads. It's a lot of paperwork and planning before any shovels hit the ground. The staff here are mostly local people who’ve been in the trade for decades. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just desks, computers, and a lot of rolled-up drawings. Saltlake is a good spot for us because it’s easy to get out to the highways where many of the projects are located. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site supervisors and government departments. It's not the most glamorous work, but seeing a bridge actually get finished is a good feeling. We’ve been part of the landscape here as the city grew towards the east. Sometimes the office gets loud with everyone talking at once about deadlines or material costs. That’s just the nature of the construction business. We don't try to sound like a big multinational. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to build things and happen to work out of Saltlake. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving and provides work for a lot of people who really know their craft.
