Tantia Constructions Limited

Out here in Naihati, near Sushickan School, things move at their own pace. Tantia Constructions Limited is based out of this spot on Madral Road, care of Sankak Bhusan Kar. It’s easy to find if you know where the school is. We do a lot of construction work around 24 Pgs (N). It’s not always easy work, especially when the weather isn't helping, but we stay busy. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got our tools and our plans laid out. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time talking to people about their walls and roofs than actually building them, but that’s the job. It's a family-style atmosphere here. We aren't a giant corporation with shiny glass windows. It's just a regular building where we figure out how to get things built. You’ll usually see a few of us hanging around outside or heading off to a site in the morning. We’ve been part of this community for a bit. It’s a good place to be. We don’t do much advertising because people around Naihati usually know where to find us if they need something put up. We just stick to what we know, which is construction. It’s honest work. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we don’t mind much. We've got a lot of stories from the different sites we've worked on around here. It’s just the nature of the job when you're in this trade.
