Am International

Am International is situated at 124 Ustad Enayat Khan Avenue in Tangra. We are quite close to the Bangladesh High Commission and the Shitala Mandir, which makes it a very specific corner of Kolkata to find. The streets around here are narrow and always full of life, with people and rickshaws constantly moving past. Our building is an old one, like most in this part of town. Inside, the rooms are a bit small and the hallways are narrow. We have desks piled high with papers and samples. It’s not the kind of place that has a fancy lobby or modern art on the walls. It’s a workspace through and through. You can hear the bells from the temple nearby and the general chatter from the street throughout the day. The air can be a bit heavy sometimes, but we keep the windows open. We spend our time coordinating things and checking on shipments. There’s always someone coming or going, whether it’s a delivery person or a neighbor stopping by to say hello. It’s a bit of a messy place, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just a small team trying to get through the daily tasks in a very busy part of the city. It’s honest and a bit chaotic, but that’s just the way Tangra is, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
