Syndot Packers & Movers

We operate Syndot Packers & Movers out of a small office on the fifth floor on Ezra Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around. It’s a lot of climbing stairs and navigating narrow lanes for us every day. We started this because there’s always someone moving house or shifting their shop inventory in this area. We pack up boxes, wrap the furniture, and try not to scratch anything. It’s not always easy, especially when the elevators don’t work or the boxes are too heavy for one person. We have a small crew that knows how to handle the glass and the heavy wood stuff. We usually spend most of our day on the road or in someone’s living room surrounded by tape and bubble wrap. It gets dusty and loud, but that’s the job. We don’t do big TV ads or anything like that. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see our trucks parked downstairs. Dealing with traffic on Ezra Street is a nightmare sometimes, so we start early in the morning to beat the rush. We’ve seen all sorts of houses, from tiny apartments to big offices. We just pack it up and move it. It’s straightforward work for us and we’ve been doing it long enough to know the tricks of the trade, even if we lose a roll of tape now and then.
