Swastik Fire Trading Corporation

Swastik Fire Trading Corporation is located at 74B/1A/1, Rahim Ostagar Road, down in the Dhakuria and Jadavpur area. We deal with fire extinguishers and other safety equipment that buildings need. It’s a practical business. We don't have a showroom with fancy carpets. Instead, we have a warehouse-style space where we keep the tanks and the hoses. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been in this part of Jadavpur for a long time and we know the local streets well. Most of our work involves checking equipment and making sure everything is up to code for the local shops and apartments. We are just regular people doing a job that needs to be done. We don't use big corporate slogans or try to sell people things they don't actually need. If your extinguisher is old, we tell you. If it’s fine, we say so. It’s a simple way of doing business on Rahim Ostagar Road. Sometimes we are out on deliveries and other times we are here at the shop refilling things. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s a busy area with a lot of history, and we are just happy to have our little corner here to work from every day. We usually keep the big metal shutters open during the day so some fresh air can get into the storage area.
