Suruchi Clinic

We’ve been here at 83 B Tollygunge Road for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot in Tollygunge, always a lot of noise from the street coming in through the front door. We keep the place open most days because people in the neighborhood need us to be here. The waiting room isn't fancy or anything. It’s got some plastic chairs that have seen better days and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of floor cleaner. We see all kinds of folks walking in from the main road. Some just have a cough or need their blood pressure checked, while others are regulars we’ve known for years. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. Sometimes the wait is a bit long because we only have a few rooms, but nobody seems to mind too much. We try to keep the files organized, though the paper stacks up on the desk pretty fast. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps when you’re trying to read small print on medicine labels. It’s just a normal clinic doing what we can for the people around here. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the one outside that everyone knows by now. It’s just how things are at our Tollygunge office.
