Suresafe Glass Works (P) Ltd.

Our office for Suresafe Glass Works (P) Ltd. is up on the 4th floor at 1, A.J.C. Bose Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and you can always hear the horns and the general rush of the street from our windows. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. The elevator is one of those old ones that takes its time, so we often just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. Working with glass means we’re always thinking about dimensions and safety, but the office itself is pretty plain. Just some desks, a few phones, and plenty of paperwork. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or looking at drawings. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in at the same time. The light is actually quite good up here, which helps. We don't have those big polished conference rooms you see in movies. Most of our meetings happen over a desk with a cup of coffee. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the side of the building, but we’ve got a couple of fans that keep things moving. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go from this floor, but we’re still here, just handling the glass orders day by day. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the factory knows exactly what the customers are asking for. It’s steady work and we just take it one order at a time.
