Super Iron Foundry

We are located at 7, Rabindra Sarani. Super Iron Foundry is basically what the name says. It’s a foundry, so expect a lot of soot and heat. We spend our days working with molds and molten metal. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. Most of the guys have been doing this for years and they have the calluses to prove it. Rabindra Sarani is a busy street, and there’s always something going on outside our doors. We don't have a polished showroom. Instead, we have a yard full of finished parts and piles of scrap waiting to be used. It’s a noisy environment, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we’ve all grown to appreciate. When someone places an order, we just get to it. There isn't a lot of talk about strategy or vision here; we just look at the drawings and start pouring. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out quite right, and we have to do it over. That’s just the nature of working with iron. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in this neighborhood, but we’re still here, doing the same thing we’ve always done. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy office furniture, just with the stuff we actually make. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s the highlight of the afternoon for most of us working near the furnace.
