Sunrize Hosieries is located in Haturia. If you know Haturia, you know it’s a place where a lot of this kind of work happens. We handle hosiery items, which basically means a lot of fabric and threads everywhere. The sound of machines is pretty much the background noise of our lives here. It’s a local operation, and most of the people who work with us live nearby. We’ve been at this for a while, and the building has seen better days, but it works for what we need. It’s not a corporate office with fancy rugs. It’s a place where work gets done and hands get dirty. We make sure the shirts and vests and whatever else we are working on are made right. The pace changes depending on the season. Sometimes we are working late into the evening to finish an order. Other times, things are a bit more relaxed and we can take a longer lunch break. Haturia is a quiet spot mostly, and we like being part of the community here. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. People know who we are because we’ve been around for years now. We just try to be fair and keep the machines running properly. It’s a simple life focused on the quality of the cloth we produce every day and the folks who eventually wear it.
