You’ll find Sunny Leather Exports on the first floor of 63 Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been in this location for quite some time now. The smell of leather is pretty strong as soon as you walk in, but we don't even notice it anymore. We spend our days looking over hides and checking the stitching on various items. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Our office is filled with rolls of leather and boxes ready to be sent out. It’s a bit messy, but we have a system. We’re just a small team of people who know a lot about leather. We aren’t really big on corporate meetings or anything. We just sit around our desks, talk about the orders, and get to work. The road outside is always busy, so there’s a lot of honking and noise, but it’s just background sound to us now. We’ve stayed here because it’s a central spot and it works for what we do. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just export leather goods and try to do a decent job of it every single day. It’s a simple business, really. We don't have any big slogans or promises. We just want to get the products right and keep the business going for another year.
