Sudha Jewellers

Sudha Jewellers is located on the first floor of the Vaibhav building. You’ll find us at 4 Lee Road in Kolkata. It’s a decent area, quite central. We’ve been in the jewelry business for a long time. People come to us when they want something specific made or if they need to fix an old piece. We have some glass cases showing what we have in stock, but a lot of what we do is custom. The shop isn't massive, but it's comfortable enough for a chat. We sit down with customers and show them different designs. It can take a lot of time to pick the right thing, and we don't mind that. Sometimes it gets crowded on weekends. We handle gold, silver, and some stones. My father started this, and we just keep it going. We don’t do big TV ads or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth. Kolkata has a lot of jewelers, but we have our regular families who have been coming for generations. We try to be fair with the pricing and the weights. It’s about being honest in this trade. If you’re around Lee Road, you can just walk up. The stairs are right there. It’s a bit old-fashioned here, but that’s how we like it. We focus on the craft more than the decor. It's a quiet place to look at nice things without pressure.
