Subhdata Consultants Llp operates out of Dc 90/1, Narayan Talla (W). We are on the ground floor of the Maharaja Apartment in Kolkata, 700059. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don’t have to deal with elevators or stairs. It makes it easy for people to drop off papers or for us to step out for a minute. The office is part of an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a sterile corporate office. We have our desks arranged in the main room. It is a bit cramped when all of us are here at once, but we make it work. Narayan Talla is a fairly busy residential area in West Bengal. There are shops and houses all around us. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to answer the door. Our daily life involves a lot of paperwork and digital filing. We keep our coffee mugs on our desks and our coats on the backs of chairs. It is a very informal environment. We aren't worried about looking like a big fancy firm. We just care about getting the work done right. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup. We like the convenience of this location and the fact that it feels like a real part of the community. We usually grab lunch from the local shops nearby.
