If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic on Jessore Road, you might have passed by the Pubali Apartment. We are at number 882, right there in the middle of all that noise and movement in Kolkata-55. Subhas Projects & Marketing Ltd. is based out of this flat, which we’ve turned into a working office over the years. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when the whole team is in at once, but it makes communicating a lot easier than being in a giant building. We deal with projects all over the place, and being on Jessore Road helps because we can get to the airport or the northern parts of the city relatively fast, depending on the traffic. Our office doesn't look like those ones you see in movies. We have stacks of files on the floor and a printer that occasionally decides it doesn't want to work for an hour. We are just a group of regular people trying to keep things organized. Marketing is a lot of phone calls and follow-ups, so there is always a bit of a buzz in the room. We don't use any complicated strategies or corporate jargon. We just talk to people, tell them what we can do, and then try our best to deliver on time. It’s a straightforward way of doing business, and it seems to work for us and the neighbors we help.
