It’s been quite a few years since we set up shop here on Sahitya Parishad Street in Kolkata. Most people in the neighborhood know the building, 32/2, it’s right there where the traffic gets a bit slow in the afternoons. Subhajit Ray Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. is really just a group of us who know a thing or two about building things and making sure projects actually get finished. We don't spend much time on fancy office décor or having big meetings that go nowhere. Instead, we spend our days looking over plans and checking on sites. Being in a place like North Kolkata, you get used to the noise and the pace of the city, and it honestly keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how things go when you’re dealing with infrastructure. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the state or anything. We just want to do the work that comes our way and do it right so we can go home at the end of the day feeling okay about what we did. Our office is a bit crowded with files and old maps, but we know where everything is. If you’re walking down the street near the 700006 area, you’ll probably see us coming and going. It’s a busy life, but it works for us. We’ve seen the street change over the years, yet we’re still here, doing our bit every day.
