Our office is located in Mahatwana, over in the Ulwari Sharif area of Patna. It’s a busy part of Bihar, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We handle a lot of different projects and marketing tasks, which basically means we are on the phone a lot or looking at spreadsheets. It isn't the kind of job where you get your hands dirty with grease, but it’s still hard work in its own way. We started out small and stayed that way for a long time before things finally picked up for us. Now we have a few more desks and a lot more files piled up in the corners of the room. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to get the work done. We deal with a lot of different people from all over the district. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, and other days it feels like everyone needs something at the exact same time. We try to keep things organized, but with so much paperwork, it’s a constant battle for us. The local tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. It’s just about managing the projects we have and making sure the marketing side of things is actually moving forward. It’s a living, and it keeps us out of trouble mostly.
