We are located out in Narendrapur, specifically at Elachi on V.N. Sarani Road. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of Kolkata, but it’s where we are. We share the space or are located c/o Haran Naskar. The area has its own pace. It’s not as rushed as the city center. We handle things for Srijan Realty from here. Most of our work involves the properties in the South 24 Parganas area. It’s a growing place. You see a lot of green patches turning into construction sites these days. Our office is pretty basic. We have some chairs for visitors and a few computers that have seen better years. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping ledgers and visiting plots of land to see how the work is progressing. Sometimes the roads out here are a bit rough, especially after it rains. We spend a lot of time on our bikes or in local transport getting from one site to another. It’s not a fancy lifestyle. We just do the work that needs doing. We know the local people and the local land pretty well by now. It’s a quiet life compared to the big city offices. We don't have any glossy brochures to hand out. If you want to know about a project, you just come sit down and we tell you how it is. That's just how we operate out here for the most part.
