S.P.M.L.

We are located over at 50 Viswalaxamitala in the 700060 area of Kolkata. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that suits us just fine. The office is right in the heart of the community, and we see the same faces every day walking past the door. We aren’t a big company with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group of people working under the S.P.M.L. name. The building is simple, and our rooms are filled with the usual stuff like computers and stacks of paper. We don’t really go for anything flashy. Most of our work involves staying on top of our daily tasks and making sure we don’t miss any deadlines. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for when there’s a festival at the local temple. We spend our mornings catching up on emails and our afternoons sorting out whatever issues have cropped up. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, but we do take our work seriously. We like the fact that we can just be ourselves here. There’s no need for suits or fancy titles. We just use our common sense and get on with it. If a client comes by, we sit down and talk like normal people. It’s a very straightforward way of running things, and it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture in this part of Kolkata.
