You can find us on the first floor at H/80, 123/2, A.P.C. Road. It’s a noisy part of town because of all the buses and trucks constantly going by. We do metal work here, so there is always the sound of cutting or grinding happening in the background. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. Our clothes usually end up with some grease or metal dust on them by the end of the shift. We have a few machines that take up most of the space. We don’t have a fancy waiting area for visitors. Usually, people just come to the workshop floor to talk about what they need. We handle a lot of small parts and custom orders for other businesses. Sometimes the materials don't arrive on time, which throws our whole schedule off. We just do our best to catch up when that happens. The summer heat is the hardest part, as the metal gets hot and the workshop feels like an oven. We drink a lot of water and keep the big floor fans running. We aren't interested in being some high-end firm. We just know how to work with metal and we've been doing it for a long time. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the grit of APC Road; it feels like a place where things actually get made.
