S.P Co Ltd is located at 29 Collin Street, right in the heart of Kolkata. If you know the area, you know it has that old-school feel with a lot of history in the walls. Our building is no different. It is a bit worn in some places, but it is home to us. We have been operating from here for a long time, watching the city change around us. The office is often a bit noisy because of the street traffic outside, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do not have any shiny glass partitions or modern art on the walls. It is mostly just wooden desks and old cabinets full of records. We do things the old-fashioned way here. We value a handshake and a direct conversation more than long emails. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here for decades and a few newer faces. We do not go in for big mission statements. We just try to be reliable and do what we said we would do. Kolkata is a city of talkers, but we prefer to just get on with the work. Some days it is raining so hard the streets flood, but someone always makes it in to open the doors. It is a steady kind of life. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just a dependable one. We just take it day by day.
