Our place is at 3/131 Jatin Das Nagar in the Belghoria area of Kolkata. It is a modest setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. South City Projects Kolkata Ltd. has its roots here. We spend our days dealing with the nuts and bolts of the business. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which we appreciate. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s just how it is in a real office. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. Most of us have lived in West Bengal our whole lives, so we know how things work around here. We just focus on the projects and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. It's not glamorous work, but it is important to us. Belghoria is a good place to be based. We see the same faces at the local tea stall every afternoon.
