Metcalfe Street in Kolkata is always such a busy place, with people rushing about and cars honking all the time. Our office is right in the middle of that at number 58. We are up on the second floor in Room 2B. It is not a very big space, but it is where we do all our work day in and day out. The building itself has that old Kolkata feel to it, and the stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up again. We have been here for a while now and the neighbors in the other rooms are mostly quiet, which helps us focus. There is no fancy lobby or anything like that, just a door with our name on it. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and some files we keep organized. We try to keep things simple and just get the job done. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud in the afternoons, but you get used to it after a few weeks. It feels like a real part of the city. We are just a small team of people trying to provide solutions to the problems that come our way. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look polished for visitors because we are usually too busy with the actual tasks at hand. It is a practical place for practical work.
