Sms India Pvt. Ltd is situated in Salt Lake City, specifically in Sector 2 at DL-40. Kolkata is a city with a lot of history, and Salt Lake is one of the more planned areas, which makes it a bit easier to navigate. Our building is a typical house in the DL block that we have turned into our working space. It has got a bit of a garden area in the front, though we do not always have time to look after the plants as much as we should. Inside, it is just a regular office with desks, chairs, and stacks of paper. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The weather in West Bengal can be very humid, so the fans are almost always running. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the work we have for the day. There is no corporate polish here. We talk to each other plainly and solve problems as they pop up. Sometimes we go out to the local stalls for a quick snack in the afternoon. It is a simple way to run a business. We do not have any grand statements to make. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that we stay on top of our deadlines. It is a quiet life in Sector 2, and we like it that way. We just keep moving along and doing what we know how to do.
