S.M.S. Enterprise

S.M.S. Enterprise is situated at 182, Ashokegarh, right near the Dunlop Bridge in Kolkata. If you’ve ever been to this part of West Bengal, you know how hectic the traffic can be around the bridge. Our office is a modest space in a building that has seen many years. We have been here for a long time, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over the months. Kolkata has a certain way about it, and we are definitely part of that local feel. The office isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things so we don't trip over them. Usually, there is the sound of horns and buses from the street below, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We spend our mornings going through the mail and making sure our supplies are stocked. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us handling the daily tasks. We don't go for anything fancy; we just need a place to sit and do our accounting and planning. The 700108 area is a good place for a business like ours because we are close to everything we need. Sometimes we walk over to the local market for lunch when we have a bit of time. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't have a big corporate culture, just a few people trying to make a living.
