Smp Enterprises Kolkata is based out here in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city hub, but we like the space we have here. Our work involves a lot of movement and keeping track of different items. It isn't a desk job where you just sit around all day. There’s always something being loaded or unloaded, and the warehouse area stays pretty active. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We’re just regular folks working in the Hooghly area. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the monsoon when the roads get messy. We just deal with it and keep the operations going as best as we can. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure things get to where they need to be. We aren't a massive multinational company. We started small and we’ve just kept at it. The days can be quite long, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always manage to straighten it out in the end. We value the practical side of the business more than anything else. It’s about getting the job done without making a fuss. Being in West Bengal, we’re used to the pace of life here. It suits us just fine and we just keep moving forward every single day.
