We’ve been here at 3 Mangoe Lane for a while now. Our office is on the first floor, which is nice because we don't have to climb too many stairs but we're still away from the street noise. Skyline Enterprises is really just a group of us working through orders and talking to people who walk in. It’s an old building, typical for this part of town, so things aren't always perfect. The walls could probably use some paint and the floorboards creak sometimes when the delivery guys come through. We spend most of our days sitting at these wooden desks that have been here since I started. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually go when things get a bit slow in the afternoon. People know us around here because we’ve stayed in the same spot while other shops have changed names or moved away. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist who greets you with a script. Usually, someone just looks up from their computer and asks what you need. It’s a practical way to run things, I think. We handle the paperwork, check the inventory, and make sure the packages go out to the right places. Sometimes the traffic on Mangoe Lane gets pretty bad, especially when the trucks are trying to unload nearby, but we just get used to it. It’s just how it is working in this neighborhood. We keep things simple here.
