Skylight Vintrade Llp

You can find Skylight Vintrade Llp on the second floor of the Mercantile Building, which is at 9/12 Lal Bazar Street. We are situated in Block E. Being on the second floor means we don't have to wait for the elevator as much, though it is usually broken anyway, so we just take the stairs. The stairs are wide and made of old stone, worn down by years of people walking up and down. Our office is a practical space. We have a few desks pushed together and some shelves that are overflowing with files and reference books. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of old paper and the tea we drink throughout the day. Lal Bazar is a hectic area, but inside the Mercantile Building, things feel a bit slower, like the building belongs to a different time. We spend our hours going through records and managing our affairs. We aren't interested in looking fancy. The floor is just plain cement and the ceiling fans wobble a bit when they are on high speed. It is a very local way of doing things. We know the other people on the second floor, and we often swap stories about the traffic or the weather while waiting for our tea. It is just a group of us trying to do a good job in a corner of Block E.
