S.K.Chatterjee & Associates

Our office is on Bakul Bagan Road in Bhowanipore. It’s a well-known part of Kolkata, and the address is 43 B. S.K.Chatterjee & Associates is a small group. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The walls have seen a lot of paperwork over the years. Bhowanipore has that old Kolkata feel, and our office fits right in. It’s not modern or minimalist. There are books and folders everywhere because that’s the nature of our work. We walk to work or take the local transport, just like everyone else. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the horns and people, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing or someone talking on the phone. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sign outside. Most people find us because they know the area or someone told them about us. We sit down at our desks every morning and start going through the files. There’s a tea stall not far away where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s a simple life. We deal with the associates and the clients in a straightforward way. No big speeches or corporate talk here. We just handle the business at hand. If the rain is heavy, the street floods a bit, but we still make it in. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We’re just regular people doing our jobs at 43 B. It works.
