Sino India Trading Co

Our place is at 22 H/3 Raja Manindra Road in Kolkata. It’s one of those older parts of the city where the streets are narrow and always full of life. Sino India Trading Co has been based here for some time. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big glass front or anything like that. Just a door and a desk and plenty of stock piled up in the back. Working in Kolkata means dealing with the rain and the crowds, but we like it here. There’s a certain rhythm to the street outside our door. Most days we are busy checking items and talking to traders. It’s not complicated work, but it takes time to get it right. We use a lot of paper notebooks because sometimes the power goes out and the computer isn't much use anyway. You get used to the sounds of the trams and the honking. There’s a tea stall nearby where we go when things get too hectic. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to move our goods and keep things moving along. It’s practical work for practical people. Everything has its place, even if it doesn't look like it to a stranger. It is what it is.
