If you find yourself near the Uniworth Centre on Shakespeare Sarani, you’ll likely pass by us. Simran Agency is located at number 74, right in that busy Circus Avenue area. It’s a hectic part of the city, and our office reflects that most of the time. There is always a phone ringing or someone coming in with a question. We've been set up here for some time now, and we've grown used to the noise from the street outside. Our space is functional, mostly just desks and files everywhere because that is what the work requires. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting there working through the daily tasks. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Dealing with people in this neighborhood is interesting because it’s such a mix of different businesses and offices. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in Kolkata; we just want to get through the day’s list of things to do. Sometimes we lose track of time when things get really busy. The address is easy to find once you know where the Uniworth Centre is. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that's the highlight of the afternoon for us.
