Simplex Projects Ltd. is located over at 149 A/3 Swinhoe Lane, inside the Debayan Flat. This is where Animesh Naskar and the rest of us handle the daily business. It’s not a huge office, just a regular spot in the Kolkata-700042 area where we keep our files and meet up. Swinhoe Lane is a narrow place, and it gets pretty busy with people moving around all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans. The flat works well enough for what we need. It isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and chairs and a lot of paper. Working here means being part of the local community. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the guys who deliver our tea. Projects come and go, and we just stay focused on the tasks at hand. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have several sites running at once, but we manage to sort it out. It’s a practical way to work. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we are usually too busy with the actual project work. If you are looking for us, Swinhoe Lane can be a bit tricky to navigate if you aren't from around here. Just look for the Debayan Flat. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It is just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs.
