Simplex Infrastructures Ltd.

If you know Kolkata, you know that Beliaghata Main Road is always full of life and noise. Our office is located at 3/1/8, right in the thick of all that traffic and energy. We are Simplex Infrastructures Ltd., and from this building, we manage the various infrastructure projects that keep the city moving. The stairs are a bit narrow and the rooms are filled with the smell of old paper and printer ink. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or fancy coffee machines you see in the big city towers. We just have a few fans spinning on the ceiling and a lot of dedicated people working on site plans. It gets quite loud outside with the buses honking, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our work involves a lot of back-and-forth with contractors and checking on material costs, so there is always someone on the phone. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about anything other than work for a bit. It is a very grounded place to work. We are not interested in looking polished; we just want to make sure the pillars are straight and the roads are solid. When people come to visit us here, they see a real working office where things actually get built. It is a busy life in Beliaghata but we wouldn't have it any other way.
