You can find us at 12/1 Nellie Sen Gupta Sarani, right in the heart of Kolkata. It’s a very central spot, which means it’s incredibly busy outside from dawn until late at night. The office is usually a bit of a chaotic scene with people coming in from different project sites to file their reports. We have large tables where we spread out the architectural drawings. The lighting isn't the best, but we get by. There’s a lot of history in this part of the city, and our office feels like it’s been part of it for a long time. We don't have many decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maybe a map of the city. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, trying to track down materials or talking to the engineers at the sites. It’s a lot of logistics. The traffic on Nellie Sen Gupta Sarani is legendary, so we usually tell people to take the metro if they want to reach us on time. We have a small corner where we keep the site boots and hard hats. It’s not the cleanest office you’ve ever seen, but it’s where the real work happens. We eat our lunch together at the main table when things quiet down for a few minutes. It’s just a regular bunch of people trying to keep the projects moving forward. We don't do much marketing or anything like that; the work speaks for itself.
