This office is on the 2nd floor, Flat No: A-3, in Laxmi Narayan Colony, which is part of 400/B/1C N.S.C. Bose Road. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good spot for us. The office is basically a converted apartment, so it has that lived-in feel. We’ve got desks in what used to be the living room and files stored in the cupboards. It’s a bit tight when we have meetings, but we manage by pulling in extra chairs. Simplex Infrastructures Ltd has a lot of history in Kolkata, and this branch handles its fair share of the load. Outside, N.S.C. Bose Road is always humming with traffic and people. We can hear the trams or buses passing by, which is just part of the background music of our workday. The office isn’t much to look at—just white walls and standard desks. We focus more on what’s on the screens and in the folders. Sometimes we have issues with the plumbing or a flickering light, but we just fix it and move on. It’s an unpretentious place. We aren't here to impress anyone with a sleek lounge; we are here to track projects and manage the logistics.
