There are no reception desks or fancy signs. We mostly have old wooden desks, some plastic chairs, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. It’s a place where we drink a lot of local tea and spend hours on the phone trying to get things delivered. The people working here are usually locals or staff who have been sent out to manage this specific site. It’s a bit of a trek to get here from the main city, but it’s where we need to be to stay on top of the work. We don’t have a marketing team sitting here; it’s just engineers and supervisors. The focus is always on the current project and making sure we have enough supplies to keep going the next day. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere that doesn't try to be anything it isn't.
