Simplex Infrastructures Limited

Our spot is at 100/A, A.B. Nagar in the Sarsuna area of Kolkata. We share the space over at Debashis Sarkar’s place, which gives it a much more grounded feel than a typical corporate office. Simplex Infrastructures Limited has a lot of projects, but here in Sarsuna, we focus on the logistics and the local workforce. It’s a regular neighborhood, so you might see us walking to the local tea shop during a break. The work involves a lot of coordinating between the engineers and the guys on the ground. We deal with the messy reality of construction every day—mud, noise, and constant changes to the schedule. We don't have a polished image to maintain; we just focus on getting the piling done and making sure the structures are built to last. People around here know us as the ones who are always moving equipment around. It’s a simple setup with some desks, some computers, and a lot of site reports. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. If you see us, we’re probably looking at a blueprint or arguing about the best way to move a heavy load through the narrow Kolkata streets. It’s just a job, but we take it seriously and try to get it done right despite the hurdles. There is always a stack of paperwork to finish before we can head home for the evening.
