You can find us at 96 Ashutosh Mukherjee Road, right in the heart of Kolkata. It’s an old building, and it has that classic feel you only get in this part of West Bengal. Simplex Infrastructure Ltd. has been operating from here for a long time, and the walls are covered with photos of old projects we’ve finished. The street outside is always noisy with yellow taxis and people rushing by, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit greeting you at the door. Usually, you’ll just find a few of us hunched over desks covered in papers. It’s a bit of a maze with all the corridors and small rooms. We like the history of the place, though. It feels like a real office where actual work happens, not just a showroom. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we take the stairs. We deal with a lot of paperwork here, coordinating things for sites all over the country. It’s a lot of phone calls and sitting through meetings to get the details right. We don’t bother with big slogans or trying to impress people. We’ve been here long enough that people know who we are and what we do. It’s just our home base, and we like it that way. No need to change something that has worked for years.
